Over 400 years old and the largest white oak in the U.S., this famous tree is the official State Tree of Maryland. It has a spread of 165 feet, is 95 feet high, and 27'8" around its trunk. The little school-house was built in the early 1700's and restored by the Queen Anne's Garden Club in 1952.
