Old Saltair Resort, Great Salt Lake

| Saltair, once world famous resort, now abandoned. Built in 1893 by the Mormons, it boasted the world's largest indoor dance floor plus the world's largest roller coaster. The entire resort was built on wooden pilings over the lake with an open air train between the resort and Salt Lake City. Closed in 1958 and destroyed by fire in 1970. |
