Clock Tower on the Quay, Waterford City: The city of Waterford is pleasantly situated on the banks of the River suir. This old Danish-morman city is the principal seaport in the south-east of Ireland. The dominating feature of the city is the fine line of wide quays extending for nearly one mile form the Bridge to the Mall. The Clock Tower, a prominent landmark on the Quay, was erected in 1861, and is nearly forty feet high.
