in four phased tests. Shown here is part of test No.
3. USNTC is located on Lake Michigan, 35 miles
north of downtown Chicago and four miles from
Waukegan. It is the oldest and largest facility of
its kind in the U.S. Its essential role is recruit
training of inductees, and the operation of service
schools for student Navy personnel.
