Texas Power & Light Company has large electric
power plants at Trinidad, Waco, McKinney and
Brownwood, its principal one being the Trinidad
plant. Ten transmission lines radiate from this plant
to feed power into the Company's widespread system
of 14,700 miles of lines. This plant is already the
bulwark of power supply in the 52-county area of
North, Central and East Texas served by the Company,
and its capacity is now being increased 53 per cent.
