There are presently thirty schools in the Midland
Independence School District. These handsome,
rambling buildings are scattered throughout the
City and house over 17,000 students. This view
shows the Robert E. Lee High School complex,
uniquely designed and completely air conditioned,
it is the newest of Midland's High Schools. Many
of its features are unequalled in the Permian
Basin Empire.
