The self-propelled, telescoping Washington steel spar pictured on the reverse is one of two in service, with a third on order, for logging operations near PeEll, Washington, by Vail-McDonald Operation, Everett Branch, Weyerhaeuser Company. An integral 450-hp Model 208 Washington yarder provides each spar with main drum capacity of 1650' of 1 3/8" line, haulback drum capacity of 3,600' of 1" line.
