TL-6 TRAKLOADER
on wide crawler undercarriage
A Washington-built crawler undercarriage, 15' 42" long by
12' 10" wide, makes this new TL-6 Trakloader of International
Paper Company one of the most stable of all self-propelled
machines used for loading and yarding logs. A sealed "Mono-
race" turntable lowers the center of gravity, and a high A-frame
with swivel ring for guys adds even greater stability for yarding
or loading tree-length logs.
For loading, the TL-6 Trakloader employs a Washington "Ton-
grapple," eliminating sheaves and reducing line wear. The Wash-
ington equipment is shown at work near Gardiner, Oregon.
