"Ishnala" in the language of the Winnebago Indians, means
"by itself alone." Originally a log cabin Indian trading post
Ishnala today still stands alone as a panoramic Supper Club
perched among the tall pines on a cliff overlooking peaceful
Mirror Lake. A two-mile private road connects Ishnala with the
main highways serving the famed Wisconsin Dells region,
including Interstate 90 from Chicago and Minneapolis.
Ishnala is open daily May through October serving dinners
weekdays from five o'clock and Sundays from 12:30. Outstanding
food and cocktails in idyllic story-book setting make Ishnala a
must for the vacationer in Wisconsin.
