Statesville and Tredell County stand in the heart of North
Carolina's piedmont region. The city is bordered by the intersec-
tion of two interstate highways: 1-40 and 1-77. The area has two
enormous lakes-Lake Lookout and Lake Norman. Lake Norman is
among the largest lakes in the East with 520 miles of shoreline.
Fishing, skiing, sailing, swimming, yachting are all available.
