VR ED-770 LIFEBOAT FROM THE EDMUND FITZGERALD One of the damaged lifeboats found after the Fitzgerald sank during a raging storm on Lake Superior with all 29 crewmen aboard. The ship was launched in 1958 and sank in 1975. The lifeboat is on display aboard the Museum Ship Valley Camp, at Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Upper Michigan Card Co., Manistique, Michigan.
