Maple Springs is directly across the lake—a distance of three
miles from the world-famed Chautauqua Assembly grounds, and
can be reached by the Lake Shore, Nickle Plate, Pennsylvania and
Erie railways, making direct connections with the J. C. & L. E.
Railway at Jamestown, Mayville and Westfield and the Chautauqua
Steamboat Company at Jamestown, Lakewood and Mayville. These
lines give hourly service to and from Maple Springs, all trains and
boats stopping at that point.
The Whiteside will be open for business June roth, and remain
open as long as the season will permit. The rates are from $8.00 to
$14.00 per week.
The management respectfully asks its friends and patrons to
secure their accommodations in advance.
