MARRIOTT'S "GREAT AMERICA"
Gurnee, Illinois
Marriott's "Great America" is located in Gurnee some six
miles west of Great Lakes, Illinois. It is a popular recreational
and amusement park where many Naval personnel take their
liberty. Some of the favorite attractions are the Sky Trek Tower,
the Tidal Wave, the Demon, the Hay Baler, and the Big Top.
"Great America" has 100 rides, live show productions, and a
complex of restaurants, gift and craft shops.
