President Warren G. Harding was born November
2nd, 1865, at Blooming Grove, Ohio. He attended
school and college in his home State, and then be-
came a school teacher, after which, he went into the
newspaper business in Marion, Ohio. On July 8th,
1891, he married Miss Florence Kling, of Marion,
Ohio. Was a member of the Ohio Senate 1900-1904,
and Lieutenant Governor of Ohio 1904-1906. In 1910
he received the degree of Doctor of Law from the
Northern Ohio University, was elected United States
Senator 1915-1921, and, on his 55th birthday was
elected President of the United States.
