CAMPING AREA
Hither Hills State Park, one of the State Parks under the
jurisdiction of the Long Island State Park Commission,
is located on the Montauk Peninsula, 8 miles west of
Montauk Village and 122 miles from New York City.
It offers a popular oceanfront camping area, surf bath-
ing, surf fishing, bathhouse, general store, refreshment
stand and picnic area.
