The new Grand Canyon Lodge, located on
the North Rim in Grand Canyon National Park,
is considered the finest of its type in any of
the National Parks. It is built of native stone
and timber and is unique in design and ar-
rangement. Built on the brink of the Canyon,
the lobby, lounge, recreation room and dining
room command an excellent view of the
Canyon. The North Rim is reached by rail
via Cedar City on the Union Pacific Railroad
and from there by interesting motor tour
through the beautiful Kaibab Forest.
