Team of the National League: Braves Field is located just
off Commonwealth Ave. (Allston) Boston, at Gaffney and
Babcock Streets. It has a seating capacity of 40,000. The
park was built in 1915 and lighting equipment for night
baseball was installed in 1946. The field is also the home
gridiron of The Boston College Football Team.
