Riddick Stadium at North Carolina State
College was named in honor of Dr. Wallace
Carl Riddick, who served as president of the
institution from 1916-1923 and was later the
college's first Dean of Engineering. The Sta-
dium is the home of North Carolina State's
Wolfpack and is the center of a number of
activities in addition to football games. It
ż has a seating capacity of approximately
20,000 and has a commodious field house at
its southern end.
