Farman's Aeroplane. Mr. Farman is a naturalised
Frenchman of English parentage, and as an aviator
decidedly stands in the front rank. Many of his flying
experiments were performed in the Voisin machine, but he
has now constructed an aeroplane of his own design, which
has proved the feasibility of long-distance flights, having
won the Grand Prix at Rheims by flying 116 miles in
3 hours 4 minutes.
