MANATEE SPRINGS STATE PARK, FLORIDA
Near Chiefland, it is situated on the Suwannee
River. The spring rises from a deep bowl, and flows
at the rate of 49,000 gallons per minute. The water
stays about 68 degrees year 'round, ideal for boat-
ing, camping, and swimming.
