Used throughout WW II mainly in the Pacific, the B-25 was
operational before the infamous Jap attack on Pearl Harbor,
Hawaii, 7 Dec. 1941. The first hit back was the raid on
Tokyo, Japan, by 16 B-25's led by Lt. Col. "Jimmy" Doolittle
on 18 Apr 1942. An exact replica of the "Tokyo Raider" is
exhibited at the Air Force Museum, W-PAFB, Ohio.
