AN ABRAHAM LINCOLN SHRINE
POSTVILLE COURT HOUSE AT LINCOLN, ILLINOIS
Logan County Historical Society gave
memorial to State of Illinois in 1953. Completed
1840, it cost less than $1200. The young travel-
ling lawyer Lincoln rode here to practice law,
following the circuit. This bldg. is a close
reconstruction, the original being in Greenfield
Village, Dearborn, Mich.
