SAINT FRANCIS HOSPITAL

Saint Francis Hospital is located high on a hilltop at
6161 South Yale Avenue. This new $8 million hospital
was founded by the W. K. Warren Foundation and is
operated by the Sisters Adorers of the Most Precious
Blood. The hospital is a five-story structure with a
capacity of 260 beds and 40 bassinets. Saint Francis
opened for patients on October 1, 1960, and was for-
mally dedicated on December 3, 1960 by His Eminence
Francis Cardinal Spellman.
