ERNIE PYLE HALL - Named for the most famous news-
paper correspondent of World War II, this building houses
the Journalism and Publications Departments, Editorial
Offices of the Indiana Daily Student (of which he was
once Editor), and the I. U. Yearbook. The Ernie Pyle
Lounge contains momentos of the famous writer. The
Don Mellett Auditorium, (within this building) is dedi-
cated to the memory of another alumnus who was a noted
crusading editor.
