Additional Details:
This extraordinary view features the George Rogers Clark Memorial which commemorates the capture of Vincennes (Ind.) and the Northwest from the British during the darkest days of the American Revolution. Capture occurred February 25, 1779. The Lincoln Bridge shown is one of the most beautiful in the United States. It crosses the famed Wabash River, and marks the spot where the Abe Lincoln family crossed the historic Wabash River in 1830.
