Killed: 1908
As a youth, Harry Longbaugh was jailed for 18 months in Sun-
dance, Wyo., for horse stealing. He later joined the Wild Bunch,
led by Butch Cassidy. Longbaugh and two gang members held
up a train in Malta, Mont., where Harry alone escaped. Five
years later, he reappeared with the Bunch to rob the bank at
Belle Fouche, S. D. Again, he was the only one to get away.
He fled to South America with Cassidy, only to meet death when
Bolivian cavalrymen shot him to death during a mine hold-up.
