MEMNON
WHILE Baltimore and Ohio in its earlier years built most of its loco-
motives in its Mount Clare shops (Baltimore), recourse occasionally
was had to outside builders. The Memnon was the output of the New
Castle (Delaware) Manufacturing Company. Although having no leading
truck, it resembled the locomotive of today.
