There are over 4,500 irrigation wells, such as this one, in Hale County. A variety of crops are raised in the county such as: wheat, cotton, grain, sorghums, vegetables, vetch, corn, sugar beets, sesame soy beans, safflower, castor beans, alfalfa, and many others. |
