THE INTERNATIONAL FAIR GROUNDS 198 are situated about three miles south of the City. in a fine Park on the banks of the San Antonio River and are used for the annual Fair. The Mexican Exhibit, Stock Exhibit, Race Course, and Amusement section, are the principale features. On these grounds the celebrated Rough Riders were organized by Theodore Roosevelt. In April, 1906, the Rough Riders Re-Union was held here with President Roose- velt as their guest.
