Dear Citizen:
Because of the increase in Burglary, Prowling, Petty Thievery
and Peeping Toms a number of our citizens have requested ad-
ditional Police Protection.
It has been proposed that the City employ a night desk
clerk, two extra night policemen and buy a Second Police Car,
equip both the new car and the old one with two-way radio
direct to the police station where a man will be on duty. The
cost of this program will amount to an increase of 50c a month
on your water bill. We don't want to do this without your
approval.
On the attached card please let us have your opinion as to
whether or not you approve of such a plan.
