RED SNAPPER Lutjanus aya
The red snapper lives in deep water in the Gulf of Mexico, on
the lower Atlantic Coast, and in the West Indies. It is often
found near reefs. A favorite food fish. Average 2 to 4 pounds
but reaching 55 occasionally.
