CARTE POSTALE.
The Red or Common Squirrel of England is,
together with its close relations the most graceful of
all climbers of trees. It builds a very good nest made
of leaves, moss and sticks; in it the young ones are
born in the month of June they keep with their
parents for the whole of that rear, setting up house-
keeping for themselves the following spring.
