| The main lobby, finished in fine marble form Portugal and furnished in fine marble from Portugal and furnished in western motif, is 65 by 180 feet and has a 30 foot high ceiling. Above, and on both sides of the main entrance to the dining room, is the celebrated mural depicting early Texas history. The mural is done in bas-relief enriched with 18-karat gold leaf. |
