ART PUBLISHERS TO THEIR MAJESTIES THE KING & QUEEN.
THE LARGEST LOOSE LEAF TOBACCO MARKET IN THE
WORLD. Dauville's fame is chiefly attributed to its tobacco
interest. A new system of selling tobacco in open, loose piles
on a large floor was inaugurated in 1858 in Neal's warehouse;
to-day there are nine establishments transacting this sort of
business, the aggregate annual sales of the loose leaf averaging
over fifty million pounds.
