The handwritten message on the back of the card reads: "We are not here to destroy but for each and all to work out our own salvation and this we can only do by letting the spirit of love enter us and be guided by each wish we feel to fulfill this love of love means to exhibit it in acts as well as in thoughts our relations one to the other should be of the fine harmony of desire love but as those who get involved in discords there is much necessary for forgiveness. I have not heard of that expected gift to come yet to an ending but hope it will be soon."
