Tulane University once was the University of
Louisiana, founded in 1834; now has an en-
rollment of over 4000 students. This is a pic-
ture of Gibson Hall, which houses the adminis-
trative offices. One of the South's foremost
educational institutions. To the left of the pic-
ture is Tilton Library. Tulane is opposite
Audubon Park.
