JOHNSON SHUT-INS STATE PARK
The east fork of Black River through eons of
time has eroded a canyon-like defile through
the oldest exposed rocks in Missouri. This
2,478 acre park has been left in its wilder-
ness state with only facilities provided for
picnicking, camping, nature trails and swim-
ming.
