Additional Details:
Built in 1692. The King George Inn is the oldest building in Warren Township. For many years it was a stage stop on King George's Road, a pre-Revolutionary highway running from Perth Amboy to Morris town. During restoration work in 1933-34, original hand-hewn beams were uncovered in the Tap Room. The Dining Rooms are furnished in authentic period pieces. Closed Mondays. Banquet Facilities - Air-Conditioned. For reservations call: 647-0410. M. James Hayden, Innkeeper.
