I'M JERRY THE TALKING DOG Through the courtesy of the Pyro-l Company, La Crosse, Wisconsin, I'm touring the country, visiting and entertaining Hospitalized Veterans. PYROL THE SUPER LUBRICANT FOR GASOLINE AND OIL JERRY—The World Famous Talking Dog is devoting his life to bringing cheer and smiles, by his visits, to hospitalized veterans in army, navy and marine hospitals, crippled children's hospitals, orphan homes,etc. The Pyrol Company of LaCrosse, Wisconsin, sponsors of Jerry, send him around the country in a big house trailer chauffeured by his master, Mr. Riley Bryan. This entertain-ment is of course offered free of charge. Jerry has been doing this wonderful work and is still going strong. Widely publicized Jerry has been featured in Life magazine, on many radio programs, in magazine and newspaper stories. While Jerry's vocabulary isn't large, he distinctly speaks the following phrases: "Truly"—"Mamma"—"I want it" —"Hubba Hubba"—"No, No"—"I won't"—"I want out". besides he dials the telephone—plays piano (doggy style music)—does some singing—mimics some famous stage stars—He will scratch your head if you'll scratch him. When Jerry visits your city be sure to see him. He gives an amazing demonstration of an animal's ability to speak, understand and respond to the English language. |
