This faithful half size counterpart of the Italian
Pisa tower was built in 1933 by Mr. Ilg and dedi-
cated to the memory of the Italian inventor Galileo.
The site was donated to the Y.M.C.A. in 1960 by
Mr. & Mrs. Ilg. Hundreds of visitors and school
children come from miles around, yearly, to see the
Leaning Tower replica.
