Additional Details:
The postcard shows the rotunda or atrium of the West Baden Springs Hotel, which is described on the card as the "Carlsbad of America." The atrium has a large open area with a fountain and potted plants in the center. There are many rows of windows and balconies around the perimeter of the atrium. American flags and red, white and blue banners are hanging from the railings. The handwritten message on the back states, "Been on the sick list for about a month - am down here for the good it will do me. Haven't been since last Friday, am feeling better."
