In addition to the many safety devices built
along the beautiful mountain boulevards in the
Denver Mountain Park District, the City of Den-
ver has also built for the convenience of the
many thousands of automobilists, shelter houses
all along the highway. These act as places of
refuge in bad weather as well as ideal locations
for picnics.
