A handwritten message on the back reads: "This is the place I should like to live in when I get married to somebody. Have had two rooms that I have rated a mighty fine sleep in. The children often divide myself so we get together most of the time. Are you getting my letters? I have written almost ten. I have received all letters from home which will tell my story when again I see you. May be seen by my dark blue."
