A view of Washington Street in Easton, Maryland. There are several automobiles parked along the street, as well as a horse-drawn carriage in the center of the road. Buildings line both sides of the street, and a large tree is visible on the left side. "There is some mud down here now. It seems to rain every day. Don't be surprised if you can't see the car - only a lump of mud, when I arrive. Will see you. Times about noon, if all goes well. Hope Sunday is a fine day so I can have a long ride."
