There are many numerous parks in Hono-
lulu which are kept in a perfect condition
with beautiful trees and foliage and restful
seats for the sojourner. The larger ones are
also recreation grounds where baseball and
other sports may be carried on, Stands are
erected in some of the larger parks where con-
certs are frequently held by the government
band. These parks are crowded by the happy
Hawaiians as well as the people of the numer-
ous nationalities comprising Honolulu's
population.
