Filled with historic memories of Kings and Queens
of Ancient Hawaii who were its adherents in the days of
monarchy, the beautiful St. Andrew's Cathedral is in-
teresting beyond description. Its close includes the
Priory for girls and the Davies Memorial Building, a gift
by his children in memory of Honorable T. H Davies.
Iolani School for boys, in the old part of which General
S. C. Armstrong lived when a boy, the Bishop's House,
St. Peter's Chinese Church, the Cluett House and other
buildings connected with the Cathedral are also on the
close. The Bishop of Honolulu has charge as Dean of the
Cathedral and his diocese embraces the entire Islands.
The Episcopal Church has many missions on all the
Islands and has in Honolulu several Churches and the
Settlement Houses of St. Elizabeths and St. Marys.
