| Camp Randall gets its name from Civil War veterans who knew it as a great military camp named for a wartime governor. The Stadium is home to the U. of Wisconsin football Badgers, perennial Big Ten contenders, and the University Basketball team holds forth in the Field House. Its present seating capacity is 63,710. The silver roof building houses a complete indoor practice area for football, baseball and track. |
