Tillicum Village in Blake Island State Park is
reached by a 45 minute boat ride from Pier 56
in downtown Seattle where North Coast Indian
life is demonstrated by interpretive Indian
dances and delicious baked salmon feasts, pre-
pared on cedar sticks around an open camp fire
in the Longhouse Building. This unusual demon-
stration of Indian culture in a natural setting is
a prominent Northwest tourist attraction open
during the summer months.
