"See their present beginning - I looked over a large mountain range which is the home for the Dall Sheep - didn't see any sheep. Saw largest lake in the Yukon. It takes a barge to go across it and is also saw whales today. Pictures of portages. Got to take pictures while we are sleeping tonight about 6:30 P.M. Will get to Anchorage tomorrow night, 11:40 P.M."
