WHEREAS, the week of May 6 - 12, 1984 is being
observed as NATIONAL POSTCARD
WEEK; and,
WHEREAS, Deltiology, the hobby of collecting
postcards, is a favored hobby; and,
WHEREAS, The Central Jersey Deltiological
Society, Inc., a non-profit
organization, is publicly supporting
efforts to popularize Deltiology; and,
WHEREAS, deltiologists will be displaying their
postcards in many local areas;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Lawrence Anzovino,
HISTORY
hereby proclaim the week of May 6th
through the 12th as Postcard Week
in Dunellen, New Jersey and urge
Dunellen residents to view the many
exhibits throughout the area with the
hope that such exhibits will incite
interest and active participation in
Deltiology as a research, historical
and educational hobby.
